Why it matters

The right certification can change where you compete.

Some buyers reserve opportunities for qualifying certified businesses. Others use supplier-diversity programs to identify suppliers. The right pathway depends on your ownership, your business, your target buyers and the rules of the specific program.

Certification applications ask you to show — with documents — who owns the company, who makes its decisions and what it has done. Gaps, inconsistencies and the wrong pathway cost time and can lead to more questions from the agency.

TIKC brings structure to that work: a clear view of which pathways may fit, an organized document set, a prepared application and support through the agency’s follow-up. The certifying agency or body still makes the decision. Our job is to help you present an accurate, complete case.

A program for small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. Ownership, day-to-day control and business history all carry weight in the review.

What TIKC reviews with you

  • Who owns the business and who controls daily and long-term decisions
  • How long the business has operated and the work it performs
  • Which business, ownership and financial records the application will rely on
  • Whether the pathway is worth pursuing now or after other steps

Program requirements are set and applied by the SBA. TIKC reviews fit and prepares the application; SBA decides eligibility and admission.

Straight answers

Why work with TIKC instead of applying on my own?
You can apply through the relevant agency or certifying body. TIKC offers optional support with choosing pathways to review, organizing supporting records, preparing the application and responding to agency questions within the agreed scope.
What is free, and when do we discuss service fees?
The initial 15-minute discovery call and the preliminary worksheet are free. Application-support services are separate. Confirm the pathways, proposed scope and fees with TIKC before engaging the team.
Does the worksheet confirm that I qualify?
No. It suggests possible pathways from your answers. Eligibility requires a fuller review, and approval is determined by the responsible certification authority.
Can I explore multiple certifications?
Yes. TIKC's published process supports reviewing more than one pathway. Each certification has its own requirements and must be considered separately.
Is HUBZone support available?
TIKC has not yet confirmed HUBZone as an active service. It is not presented as a confirmed recommendation in this site.
Does certification guarantee a contract?
No. Certification can affect which opportunities a business can pursue, but it does not guarantee a contract award.
